I have spent over 20 years working in the asset management industry and have always believed that behaviour and decision making is horribly neglected despite its paramount importance. I hold a Master’s degree in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics and run the popular blog: behaviouralinvestment.com. My first book ‘The Intelligent Fund Investor’ was published in November 2022, and focuses on the behavoural issues that cost investors dearly. I am currently CIO of a UK-based investment consultant.

I’m a decision-making specialist with deep practical experience of the pensions and investment industry.  The thread that’s linked every part of my career is understanding why, how and where decision-making goes wrong and how we can we improve it using insights from behavioural and decision science.
